Virginia became the birthplace of American wine due to Thomas Jefferson and his vision. Kilaurwen Winery and Stone Mountain Vineyards are part of the Monticello Wine Trail which includes more than 30 boutique wineries in central Virginia.
With the explosion of local craft breweries in Virginia, central Virginia has made a name for itself. Octonia Stone Brew Works is one of the newest breweries and is located right here in Greene.
