Greene County Visitor Center
Immediately upon entering the Greene County Visitor Center you will be taken back in time to the rich heritage of the county by the large mural display at the front entrance with a descriptor below. Included in this area is a unique and rotating display from our local Historical Society Museum. The Historical Society also provides a vintage quilt on display at the Visitor Center which changes quarterly.
There is always a friendly person to greet and guide you through the expansive assortment of resources. As a state certified Visitor Center we offer brochures and maps covering the coastal sands to the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will receive a nice introduction into the history, dining, shopping and culture of the county and region. With the county centrally located to so many wonderful venues, we can easily guide visitors to presidential homes, wineries, potteries, antique shopping and national parks within a short distance away.
We offer a wonderful space to relax, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and connect to our free wi-fi. A short visit to the Greene County Visitor Center will leave you feeling like you are home. Stop by, say hello, stay a while and you’ll agree.
