Greene County, Virginia offers a quality of life that can only be found among such amazing and pristine beauty that is Central Virginia. Greene is a rural county, with its County Seat in Stanardsville. Other areas are the towns of Ruckersville, Quinque, St. George, Barboursvile (a portion) and Dyke. Centrally located, Greene County is the Gateway to the Blue Ridge, the Shenandoah National Park, Charlottesville and Northern Virginia.

Greene County is a small community that offers a high quality of life for residents of all ages. From an excellent kindergarten through high school system to a vibrant senior citizen center. The Greene Community has much to offer its residents.

Greene County is one of the final stops before the Shenandoah National Park, the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Mountains. But more than that, Greene County is a place to find relaxation, beauty, to open your heart and feel the wonder of the land around you.
